TRAUMA THERAPY
Trauma Therapy can be effective for PTSD, Anxiety and depression using various techniques, such as EMDR, REWIND THERAPY OR TFCBT. These may be used on their own, in conjunction with or as a combination of therapeutic methods.
EMDR- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy.
EMDR, is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy designed to alleviate distress from traumatic memories. By using bilateral stimulation and guided eye movements, whilst focussing on the traumatic events, patients reprocess memories, reducing their emotional charge, enabling faster healing than traditional therapy. EMDR is effective at treating PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Phobias and Addiction.
REWIND THERAPY
Rewind therapy/fast technique, is a non invasive therapy to treat trauma. It helps individuals to process traumatic memories by utilizing deep relaxation and guided visulisation to rewind through the event in a safe detached state. This is a quick effective treatment for separate traumatic memories.
